I have worked as Art Director at Hunt Lascaris TBWA Johannesburg, Saatchi & Saatchi Cape Town and Leo Burnett Joburg and as designer at Nicework London and Baker Street Advertising in Johannesburg. My most recent permanent position was as Creative Director of Scharrer Advertising in Johannesburg for 5 years.

Since 2006 I have been working freelance under the name Magnet Design and Advertising (Magnet DNA), doing work for agencies in Johannesburg and Cape Town and for small businesses in need of graphic design and advertising services.

BBC London, Prince Charles Cinemas London, 3i Europe, Sunday Times, The Times, VISA, Vodacom, Cell C, LG,
Absa Bank, Liberty Life, Arwa, Total and SA Post Office.

I love thinking up new ideas and making them look great. To me concept is key and everything else flows from there. I’m inspired by openness, originality, simplicity, inclusivity and honesty. By being creative we change reality every day so we must be inventive and courageous, but also responsible.
